  • Morning: Visit the Larco Museum to learn about Peru’s ancient civilizations.
  • Afternoon: Stroll around the Miraflores district.

DECEMBER 23, 2024 - FLY TO CUSCO

  • Morning: Flight from Lima to Cusco.
  • Afternoon: Acclimatize to the altitude and take a leisurely walk around Plaza de Armas.

DECEMBER 24, 2024 - CUSCO CHRISTMAS BAZAR

  • Morning: Visit the Santurantikuy Christmas Market at Plaza de Armas, where locals sell Christmas crafts and traditional items.
  • Afternoon: Free time for additional exploration.
  • Evening: Attend “La Noche Buena” (Christmas Eve) Mass at Cusco Cathedral, followed by a traditional Christmas dinner.

  • Morning: Train ride to Aguas Calientes, the gateway to Machu Picchu.
  • Afternoon: Check into your hotel and explore the town.
  • Evening: Enjoy dinner out.

DAY - 10

DECEMBER 30, 2024 - MACHU PICCHU

  • Early Morning: Bus to Machu Picchu for a guided tour of the ancient citadel.
  • Afternoon: Optional hike to Huayna Picchu or explore more of Machu Picchu.
  • Evening: Return to Aguas Calientes and relax.

DAY - 11

DECEMBER 31, 2024 - RETURN TO CUSCO

  • Morning: Free time in Aguas Calientes.
  • Afternoon: Train back to Cusco.
  • Evening: New Year’s Eve dinner at a restaurant with a view of the fireworks. Celebrate with locals at Plaza de Armas with fireworks and traditional festivities.

DAY - 12

JANUARY 1, 2025 - NEW YEARS DAY IN CUSCO

  • Morning: Relax and recover from New Year’s Eve celebrations.
  • Afternoon: Visit Tambomachay and Pukapukara ruins.
  • Evening: Enjoy a farewell dinner out.

DAY - 13

JANUARY 2, 2025 - FLY BACK TO LIMA

  • Morning: Transfer to the airport for your flight back to Lima.
  • Afternoon: Depending on your flight schedule, enjoy a final meal in Lima or explore any remaining sites.
  • Evening: Departure from Lima.
